Chocolate Souffle

I made chocolate souffle for the first time ever! It was easy and DELICIOUS!! Make some tonight. Trust me, it won't disappoint.

    Chocolate Souffle:
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 ounces semisweet chocolate
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 tablespoon cornstarch
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
1. Melt butter and chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat.
2. Combine sugar and cornstarch. Whisk eggs and egg yolks.
3. Add butter and chocolate to the sugar. Stir in the eggs and mix well. Chill overnight.
4. Scoop into four to five ramekins (secret: spray with cooking spray and add a light coating of sugar inside)
5. Bake 15-20 minutes. Be careful not to overcook!!
6. Remove from oven and serve immediately.

Ornaments

I was re-arranging a few ornaments on my tree, thinking about Christmas, and I realized I don't have many Christ-centered Christmas decorations in my home. Isn't that what this season is truly about? I grabbed what I had around me and decided to make myself a little reminder.

I got this in the mail today, so I cut the flaps off...

Then I used some old glitter chipboard letters that I've had for years....

 Got my trusty glue gun...

I glued on some scrapbook paper, distressed the edges with red ink, and glued on the letters. Then I just stuck it in my tree. I really like how it turned out- and it was SUPER easy.

I liked it so much, I even made two more!
(The c in this might have been a G at one point...)

(And the O in this was most definitely a Q at first...)
=)

Christmas Wreath

My friend and I went thrift store hunting a few weeks ago- and I scored all these vintage ornaments for FREE. I knew exactly what I wanted to make with them: a Christmas wreath! All it took was a little hot glue and a dollar store wreath.

**Note: If you plan on making one of these, I suggest getting the foam wreaths...it would have made my life a lot easier!**

**UPDATED Note: When it get's too cold, the hot glue doesn't stay very well. I will be remaking this using e6000 glue.**

I LOVEEEE the results. =)

I will be linking this up to all the awesome blogs found HERE.
